Long before the proposal we decided that when we got married we wanted our kids to be involved in the ceremony.  Ironically our kids had also decided the same thing long before the proposal.  

Jennifer prepared a beautiful little box with a tropical destination travel theme and personal request for the honor of having each of the girls be her bridesmaids.  Each girl accepted and Jennifer couldn't be happier to have them stand with her during the ceremony.

The boys announced to Ryan that they were going to be his groomsmen and have concocted a plan of their own, including their attire for the occasion as well as special surprise in store for our wedding guest during the ceremony.

 It means the world to us to have our kids standing up with us on our special day.  Jennifer is happy to gain a daughter who is also a friend and while she is less thrilled to gain the title "grandma" she loves Parker like a son and is so thrilled to have him as a grandson (ugghh...it makes her feel old)! Ryan is so happy to have his little buddy (more like partner in crime) Gage as his stepson and enjoys his Seahawks time with his stepdaughter Kylie!
